Christmas STEAM Advent Calendar

To make the advent calendar, I put together a super simple Christmas tree display.  I picked up a small Christmas tree at the grocery store and placed it into my favorite 500 ml beaker {affiliate}.  Then I made some 1″ circle ornaments and a star topper out of card stock and wrote the numbers 1-24 on the pieces.  Glittery pipe cleaners served as ornament hooks and tree topper stand.  Super simple, because this advent calendar is all about the activities, not the display!
