Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Ā Are you making pie? Ā While you bake, the kids canĀ paint and play with their very own Pumpkin Pie Painting. Ā It’s a super easy craft made fromĀ the lid to frozen pie crusts. Plus it has some fun sensory play at the end, too… Ā Keep reading for more fun paint painting ideasĀ plus this week’s installment of the Love to Learn Linky.
Pumpkin Pie Painting and Messy Play Supplies Needed:
- Lid to a frozen pie crust (or a glass pie plate)
- Paint (We used brown, orange, yellow, white & red, but any will do.)
- Shaving cream
- Baking sheet to contain the mess
First, paint the underside of the pie crust lid. Ā Painting the bottom (instead of the top)Ā makes the “whipped cream” stay creamy white in the next step.
Next, flip lid over and get out the shaving cream. Ā The Babe loves using the can all by herself. Ā Have towels ready!
Beware that the shaving cream fun might get a little crazy if you step into the other room to do dishes…
