Lunchbox Robot Magnets

First step is to print out your magnets. I used magnet paper that you can get at Walmart. Love it because you just pop it into your inkjet printer and print any image on it you want. Then cut out your magnets. Here is where I would recommend laminating them. I would have laminated them but literally two days before I did this project, my daughter’s kindergarten teacher said she needed a laminator. And I thought, “I don’t use this much, I’ll give it to her.” Then, boom, I needed it the next day….

And then grab some stainless steel food containers. Not all steel works, so give them a try first. And that’s it! Let your kiddo play with the robot magnets and make whatever robot they can dream up.

How to Make Lunchbox Duty Easy

I’m not sure why, but when my daughter started kindergarten this year, I got totally overwhelmed with lunch duty. It’s not like I haven’t been making her lunch for five years before this… But she’s an extremely eater who doesn’t like to eat very much when her friends are around. So when I find some easy, just drop in the lunch box ideas, I’m sold. Horizon milk boxes are one of them. And I’ll be honest, the delicious vanilla one ensures that she’ll actually drink it and get those 8 grams of protein that she needs.

And these peanut butter sandwich crackers make it even easier to add protein. Which is always a challenge for my nearly vegetarian daughter.
