The other day I realized I had been on a bit of a Christmas tree binge. Every other project we did around here had a Christmas tree in it. Hmm… What does that say? I was a pine tree in a previous life? Nah, I just think they’re pretty and they smell nice :) Anyway, because it’s Left Brain Craft Brain, those trees were combined with a bit of Christmas STEM. Hope you enjoy these Christmas Tree STEM projects. This post contains affiliate links.

Dig in the tool box for some unused nuts, bolts and washers to make these Tinkering Trees. They develop fine motor skills, help kids explore geometry and are fun to build.
Kids will love this fun coloring page where the secret to the color code is ASCII, the earliest programming language.
Make a messy snowstorm with oobleck and teach kids about non-Newtonian fluids at the same time.
Just a few supplies and a few minutes and your kiddos will be little architects with these gumdrop trees.
Light up your holidays with these glowing Christmas Tree gift tags that are super easy to make. There’s a free printable and Rudolph & snowflake versions too. You can download the free printable HERE.
Food and math are a favorite combo here… Practice geometry and develop spatial skills with these tangram puzzle cookies. You can grab the printable HERE:
Even an advent calendar I made for The Babe used a Christmas tree! But this tree is filled with 25 days worth of science, technology, engineering, art & math projects. Don’t worry if it’s not December 1st, these activities are good all month.
