I need you to slowly think back to age 7… You’re sitting at the breakfast table. Can you see what you are eating? Or maybe I should ask, what do you wish you were eating? Was it Count Chocula®? Or maybe Franken Berry®. Or my daughter’s favorite Boo Berry®. Today is flashback cooking day and I’m taking you back to the carefree days of childhood with these spooky fun, Crispy Monster Munch Cereal Bars.
Crispy Monster Munch Cereal Bars
I couldn’t decide which cereal is my favorite, so I made all three :) They’re all super crunchy sweet treats perfect for your Halloween party. Plus they’re super easy to make! Even if you can’t decide which flavor, either.
Build a Spooky Monster Castle
I always loved the silly characters for the monster cereals. For Halloween this year, they’ve added a fun castle building activity to the back of the box. Simply cut out the shapes and start playing. While I was making the three batches of bars for this post, I kept overhearing my girl telling elaborate stories of ghosts and vampires and strawberries. It was pretty hilarious to listen to…
The castle and characters make a super cute snack table decoration, too!
