Five Minute Crafts are becoming a lot more important in our house these days! Anyone else feeling like the holidays are going to be here before we know it? Today’s activity Tape Resist Glitter Forest is all about giving my daughter a chance to sprinkle as much glitter as she wants!
Tape Resist Glitter Forest Supplies Needed:
- Large piece of sturdy paper (card stock is perfect)
- Masking tape
- Tempera paint and brushes
- Glitter
I can never get a picture of the supplies for a project without my daughter’s hand in it! She’s always so excited to start creating. Patience grasshopper!!
Step 1: Tape your trees.
Step 2: Paint the Forest. A lot.
Step 3: Sprinkle with glitter. A lot of glitter.
Step 4: Remove tape. Carefully, but a few jagged edges give it a more natural look ;)
Step 5: Let dry flat. Shake off excess glitter over trash can instead of spilling on the carpet like I did.
