Every STEAM Explorers issue is built upon what kids need to learn. We use the NSTA (National Science Teacher's Association) Next Generation Science Standards to guide each issue. These standards are loaded with engineering thinking, too.
The STEAM Explorers team is led by Anne Carey, an MIT-educated chemical engineer turned educator. The team is rounded-out with computer science, elementary education, and culinary specialists to make each issue packed with learning -and- fun.
