Instructions
Form the Baby Yoda Eyes from Clay: Break your black polymer clay into two equal-sized portions and roll them into a ball. Flatten one side of each ball, making a half-dome shape. Bake the polymer clay eyes per the directions on the package.
Cut the Fur for the Baby Yoda Head: Flip your faux fur over with the fur side down. Cut the fabric only into a 4-inch by 4-inch square. Grab a piece of extra fur and ball it up into a ball about the size of a quarter. Place it in the center of the 4" square of fur. Trim the square into a general circle-shape by cutting off each of the corners.
Glue the Baby Yoda Head: Place a bead of hot glue around the edge of the fabric and fold the circle of fur around the scrap of fabric.
Trim the Baby Yoda Head: Trim the fur around the ball shape to make the fur a little more even.
Cut the Fur for the Baby Yoda Ears: Cut two long triangle shapes from the faux fur that are 3-inches long with a short side of ¾ inch.
Glue the Baby Yoda Ears: Place a bead of hot glue around the edge of the triangle shapes and fold them over onto each other, lengthwise.
Trim the Baby Yoda Ears: Trim the triangles of fur so that the actual strands are closer in to the fabric and cleaner-looking ears.
Paint the Baby Yoda Eyes: When the eyes are done baking and cooled, use the white paint to dot on two catchlights. Allow the paint to dry completely. Paint the two eyes with the craft sealant. Allow sealant to dry completely.
Assemble the Baby Yoda Backpack Charm: Part the fur on either side of the ball of fur and hot glue the larger end of the triangles on each side of the ball. Affix the keychain clip to the top of the ball between the ears. Part the fur on either side of the baby yoda face and hot glue the two eyes in place. Arrange and adjust the faux fur to your liking.
