Ready for 2015? (sound of screaming in the background…) I can’t even believe I’m saying 2015. I guess I might as well give in to the inevitable and have a party. And at Left Brain Craft Brain, we have slime parties. Filled with confetti. I hope you have as much fun with this Party Slime as my daughter and I did! And Happy Almost New Year, too. Party Slime Recipe
- 1/4 cup clear or clear blue school glue {affiliate}
- 1 cup hot water
- food coloring
- 1/2 teaspoon Borax {affiliate}
- 1 cup hot water
- Foil confetti (as much as desired, we used 2 Tablespoons) {affiliate}
- Pour glue and 1 cup hot water into large bowl. Mix until uniform and glue seems dissolved.
- Add 1-2 drops of food color if desired and mix well.
- Stir Borax into 1 cup hot water until dissolved.
- Pour Borax solution over glue solution and stir. Then knead by hand until slime is formed. There will be Borax solution that doesn’t absorb into the slime so don’t worry if there’s liquid left in the bottom of the bowl. Don’t leave the slime in the Borax solution for too long or it will become too hard. If slime still feels sticky, make a little more Borax solution and repeat process.
- Remove slime from the Borax solution and place on tray or other play surface. Pour confetti over it and knead to mix.
Have a Slime Party
The Babe was loving this slime. And the photo shoot. She kept hamming it up for the camera with that noisemaker / blower thing. (What are those called, anyway?)
Love messy play like slime, goop and play dough? I have a ton of recipes on my Pinterest board!

I love that it’s clear! How fun!
I love clear glue. I don’t know why it’s so hard to find in stores…
